DAINTY CORAL & LACE ( Victorian Jewelry Coral Earrings ): These Victorian “coral” lace earrings are a delight to wear. (c. 1870-90) The soft radiance of the coral color and the richness of the 18KT gold ear wires combine to create these dainty delights. A rare find, these lacy earrings are formed of celluloid, invented in 1868 and quickly used by Victorian jewelers because of its light weight and new availability. Each lace background is set with a large “coral” oval. Suspended by large links, these pretties are free swinging. The coral color and exquisite design are a dynamite combination. They appear much more expensive than they are in reality. These are a special find that will please you ladies who are looking for delicate Victorian earrings. Own them now and wear them next week!
