THE ROYAL CREST ( Victorian Jewelry Antique Scottish Enamel Pin / Pendant ): I am so excited to have found this rare and exquisite Sterling Silver and enamel Scottish pin/pendant. (c. 1830-1860) Positively regal in design and quite grand in scale. This cross of St. Andrews is surmounted by a crown indicating a royal crest and the Queen’s permission was needed to wear it. The engraved silver, combined with the crisp blue and white enamel work with accents of red, is truly stunning. The crown is curved around the cross and is actually a separate piece mounted in place. There is a C clasp and extended pin on the back. The pendant chain and ring are suspended above the cross. Just add your own neck wire or silver neck chain. You could also use a silver watch pin. A remarkable find for a true collector. Condition: Excellent. A small spot of enamel damage, but not noticeable by the naked eye. Size: Entire pin 2 3/4” high. The cross is 1 7/8” high, 1 3/4” wide, 3/8” thick. 1” chain with jump ring.
