TOMB RAIDERS ( Egyptian Revival Jewelry Pin ): With the discovery of King Tutís Tomb the Egyptian Revival craze was filled with exotic motifs and extravagant pieces of jewelry. This gorgeous die-stamped pin with three book chain pendant dangles dates to around 1925. An Egyptian pharaoh gazes serenely from the central piece at the top of the pin as his headdress flares gently around his face. Safety clasp on back. A large and flamboyant find. Condition: Excellent, with nice aged patina. Size: Central pharaoh motif 1 3/4" high by 1 1/2" wide. Entire pin at center dangle 4 1/2" long.
