LOVELY LADY MEISSEN PUG: If you don’t have a Meissen Porcelain Pug Dog in your collection yet, this little lady is a relatively inexpensive one with which to start. She’s made from the finest hard paste porcelain and nicely decorated. She bears the famous Meissen crossed swords trademark. It is hard to make out her model number, but it looks like "114710". If the first "1" is an "I", it indicates her mold was made between 1867 and 1876, but I think she was "thrown" or "pulled" (actually produced from an old mold) in the early 20th century judging from the appearance of the trademark. Condition: Excellent. No cracks, chips or repairs. 2 1/8" high, 2" long.
