THE WELL DRESSED DRESDEN PUG ( Dresden Porcelain Pug Dog ): This handsome fellow is dressed in the largest gold bells of any pug I’ve seen. He is made of fine hard paste porcelain and hand painted by the Rudolph Kämmer Porcelain Manufactory of Volkstedt, Germany, founded in 1862. Kämmer makes the highest quality Porcelain Pugs (along with Meissen and Thieme in Dresden) in the Meissen / Dresden style. They are characterized by the longer muzzles and legs, cropped ears and white with fawn or gray spots typical of pre-Victorian pugs. Actually, this is the only Kämmer Pug I've seen with gray spots, all the others have been fawn.  Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs. Size: 7 3/4" tall, 8 1/2" long, 4 3/4" wide and 7 gold bells 5/8" in diameter.
