VINTAGE ESTATE TURQUOISE ( Vintage Native American Zuni Indian Jewelry Turquoise Bracelet ): A fine example of a scarce bracelet by Zuni artist George Martinez. (c. 1940-50) From a collector's estate, this striking bracelet features five deep blue with silver matrix bezel set turquoise stones at its center. Each deep blue stone has been hand cut and are separated by four pairs of Sterling orbs. Sterling Silver stampwork decorates each of the sides. A thick silver bracelet, it is hallmarked “ >GM< ” and stamped “Hand Made” and “Sterling”. Native artist George Martinez was a much admired Zuni Silversmith although this bracelet has a Navajo look. The style is many years old but the workmanship remains refined.Bracelet is a Medium. In the wide open reaches of the Navajo and Zuni lands the sky is represented by the blue of turquoise stones. For collectors of Vintage Indian jewelry this first-rate bracelet fits the bill. Own a piece of Heaven!

Condition: Excellent Vintage
Size: Central band of turquoise stones covers 2 1/2”. Width of band is 3/8” centrally tapering to 1/2” at ends. The inner opening is 5 1/8” plus a 1 3/8” gap giving a 6 1/2” inner circumference. Medium Size.
