Native American Jewelry: NA194

SLEEK SHELL ( Vintage Native American Navajo Indian Ring ): Since the dawn of time we've enjoyed adorning our fingers, perhaps because we can see and admire the jewelry all by ourselves. Rings have been symbols of power and majesty, of eternal devotion and friendship. I wore this Navajo melon shell ring for many years and received lots of attention. Its pale peach color with natural deeper markings mixes well with other Indian jewelry. I often wore it with shell Cameo brooches. Bezel set with a Sterling Silver rope twist border, the ring shank features a triple shoulder ring band. The ring is a size 6 ½, for smaller fingers or perhaps worn as a pinkie ring. Uncommon in stone color, simply set, this ring keeps to tradition but has a bold feminine look.

Condition: Excellent. Artist unknown.
Size: The melon shell and setting 1 3/8” long, 3/4” wide. Ring size 6 ½. For small fingers or pinkie ring.
