Native American Jewelry: NA170

SILVER & CORAL ( Vintage Native American Navajo Indian Ring ): One of the many interesting things about the jewelry of the various Native American tribes is how they borrow techniques they admire from the jewelry of other tribes. For instance this might be called a “Navi-Hopi” Ring. The Sterling Silver overlay with the oxidized black background is definitely Hopi. However, the black areas are smooth rather than finely serrated as is done in Hopi jewelry. I love the “combos”. Here the large silver oval with the bezel set coral cabochon central stone and silver roping edge makes for a strikingly handsome ring. It has a simple narrow split shank band, ring size 8, which can be easily sized to fit your finger. Or you can put a layer of moleskin on the back of the disk to make it smaller yourself. Decorate our hand with this beauty!

Condition: Excellent.
Size: 1 5/8” high, 1” wide, 3/8” deep. Ring size 8.
