Native American Jewelry: NA0121

A SPLASH OF COLOR ( Vintage Native American Indian Navajo Beaded Earrings ): These dazzling pierced earrings are plucked from my personal collection of beaded beauties. I met the Navajo artist who custom marked these colorful beaded earrings for me at the Texas Indian Arts & Crafts Show in Dallas about 25 years ago. I wanted something in non-traditional colors and this is the result. The Sterling Silver top is set with purple onyx cabochon stones resembling Sugilite. The dazzling beads are attached by sewing through the silver in a creative manner. The Venetian glass beads include a vibrant shocking pink, iridescent purple, matte purple and, of course, the long silver tubular beads. Some of the finest bead work I have seen. The back is signed “LIZ” and notice how she included a row of iridescent beads so that no stitching shows. These shimmering eye dazzlers, that you won’t see anywhere else, light up the room and make you the center of attention.

Condition: Excellent. Light weight.
Size: total length is 4”, Silver oval top is 1 1/4” long, 1 1/8” wide.
