CLASSIC SIMPLICITY ( Vintage Native American Indian Alice Platero Navajo Ring ): Stunning simplicity of design is used to create an unforgettable Navajo ring of understated elegance. (c. 1980) Signed by Navajo silversmith, “Alice Platero”, and marked “Sterling”, the rectangular piece of deep blue turquoise with black matrix webbing is bezel set and decorated with stamp worked borders. The ring band has an unusual five way split shank that enhances the look of the central piece of turquoise. It is a ring size 7 – 7 ¼. Designed so that the use of Sterling Silver metal is part of the sculptural element of the ring, this ageless beauty is comfortable to wear and flattering to all skin tones. Meticulously crafted, the beauty of this ring comes from the designer’s clear knowledge that “less is more”. A timeless classic that could become your signature piece.

Condition: Excellent.
Size: Turquoise stone is 1 ¼” high, ½” wide, ¼” deep. Ring size 7 – 7 ¼. The ring band is thick enough that it could be sized larger, but any smaller would spoil the split shank design.
